EGE Engineering Ltd. was incorporated in May, 2006 by Mr. Larry Bielus, P.Eng. Prior to forming EGE, Larry was the Manitoba Regional Manager of the Environmental Division of a large multinational consulting company where he was responsible for overall management of the administrative and technical aspects of the Division, including staff allocation, project scheduling, cost control and senior technical review. Larry will continue to bring his 35 years of experience to the table and provide support to Mr. David Klassen, P.Geo., who will be taking the reins as Environmental Group Manager at TREK. David brings 30+ years of experience in environmental consulting, and has been employed with EGE for 13 years. Prior to joining EGE, David managed the Environmental Group in Manitoba at a large Canadian consulting company and was also the senior geoscientist at a large multinational consulting company. David specializes in environmental site assessment, site remediation, hazardous building materials assessments and environmental impact assessments.
With the addition of EGE, TREK is now positioned to provide geotechnical, hydrotechnical and environmental engineering consulting services, as well as materials testing services to projects throughout Canada. Our staff are committed to quality management and continuous improvement with emphasis on providing clients with innovative and cost-effective solutions. We accomplish this by being dedicated to the highest standards of quality and excellence including following best management practices, applicable laws and regulations and conducting business in an environmentally responsible manner.
